Born in Ljubljana, Tea Bajc started her ballet education at the age of ten in the Conservatorium for Music and Ballet Ljubljana. Soon she collaborated with the National Opera and Ballet Ljubljana in performances of La Bayadere and La Sylphide. During the summer vacation of the 2010/2011 season, she attended a ballet seminar of different ballet masters around the world on the island of Vis, Croatia. There, she received a personal invitation from the Mr.Director Frederic Olivieri of the Accademia Teatro alla Scala, Italy, to their entrance exams.
In the 2011/2012 season, at the age of twelve, she successfully passed the entrance exams and enrolled in the Accademia Teatro alla Scala in Milano, Italy. During her studies, she received a special scholarship for talented young dancers. In the meantime, Tea expended her knowledge with the renowned Romanian ballet master Mr.Vasile Solomon, who came to Slovenia on a special invitation by Mr.Edward Clug, the dancer, choreographer, and artistic director of the National Opera and Ballet Maribor.
At the age of fifteen, Tea successfully passed the audition and became a first Slovenian member at the Ballet Academy of Vienna State Opera, Austria. She graduated from the the Academy in the year 2018 as the first Slovenian dancer ever to do so. During her studies, she collaborated in several performances with the company of Vienna State Opera House and danced among the company of Mariinsky Theater at the Ljubljana Summer Festival. In January 2016 she participated in the prestigious 60th anniversary of the Vienna State Opera Opernball as a dancer of the ballet piece created by famous Mr. Vladimir Malakhov, and was invited again the following year for the Opernball 2017, this time with choreography by Mr.Lukas Gaudernak. In October 2016 in Peking, China, she performed a piece by renowned choreographer Mrs.Evelyn Teri at the ballet gala evening from competition in Poly Theater. She performed the same ballet piece later in Vienna, for the Chinese New Year in Muth Theater 2017. The same year in December, I participated at the world-famous New Year Concert by the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in Musikverein. In June 2017 she danced in Vienna’s Nureyev Gala, which is performed every year as the closing performance of the season of the State Opera and Ballet Vienna. It hosts the most renowned dancers of the opera, and features guests from around the world. The same year, she participated in a DanceArts summer course lead by Russian prima ballerina Liudmila Konovalova. During her studies in Vienna, Tea received financial support from the Slovenian national insurance company Triglav (Mladi upi, Zavarovalnica Triglav, Slovenia). In 2018, the year of her graduation, she performed in the Petipa Gala, where she danced the role Fleur de Lys from ballet La Esmeralda. That summer, Tea received an invitation from choreographer Claudia Sovre to participate in a competition for choreographers, where she interpreted the piece »Where are you?« by Claudia Sovre and received third place. After graduating from the Ballet Academy of Vienna State Opera, she was appointed as a company member of the young corps de ballet at the Vienna State Opera. In her first season (2018/2019) she performed in Giselle, Sylvia, Swan Lake, Nutcracker and Fledermaus. For the last three years, she has also been a regularly appointed ballet dancer for the New Years event in the Vienna Parliament »Rathaus«. Tea was often a substitute with the Ballet Ensemble of the Volksoper Vienna as well. With them, she toured in Finland at the Savonlinna Festival in summer 2019. Besides performing, Tea also passed her knowledge on to the younger generation (children between the ages of four and fifteen) at the ballet school of Vienna Ballettraten in the season 2019/2020.

Tea started a new season (2020/2021) as member of the ballet company Opera and Ballet SNG Maribor, where she continues living her professional ballet career.
